The social center of campus is definitely here at The Quad, and you can probably see why. The four-acre area was awarded the 2009 Los Angeles Architectural Award in the Landscape Architecture category. Not just a place for the SMC community to socialize and relax, the Quad hosts concerts, special events, and regular club gatherings such as Picnic on the Quad and Club Row.
