: The Historical Memory Project and the Andrew Shiva Gallery presents a panel of scholars and artists discussing an exhibition held at John Jay College in the Shiva Gallery. The panelists discuss the content of the exhibition, its socio-historical context and the significance of bearing witness. The panelists include Jeffrey Blustein, Arthur Zitrin Professor of Bioethics and Professor at City College and the Graduate Center, CUNY; Estrella B. Brodsky, Independent Curator; Marcia Esparza, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at John Jay College and Founder and Director of the Historical memory Project; and Cyriaco Lopes, Photographer and Professor of Photography at John Jay College. The moderator is Lydia Shestopalova, Adjunct Faculty at Guttman Community College, CUNY and Assistant Director of the Historical Memory Project.
