The UC Merced Housing & Residence Life aims to build safe and inclusive learning communities. Ever wondered what it’s like living on the newest University of California campus? We continue our showcase of different housing communities on campus. Third on our list is the GP's, that includes Granite Pass and Glacier Point. **In Fall 2018, UC Merced opened two new residential facilities as part of the UC Merced 2020 Project. These new buildings are located south of Little Lake and feature 715 beds available as doubles and triples. The first floors of the buildings feature social and academic spaces.
