Students at the University of Rochester are offering free clothes to their fellow classmates and it’s all in the name of sustainability. Grassroots, an on-campus student group, collects clothes and offers it back to the student body for free. The goal is to help reduce the energy cost of clothing production and to keep clothing items out of landfills. Students say it's a great way to save money while helping out the environment.
