The GSMB is the conduit for school spirit and pride at ENMU. The GSMB, "The Sound of the High Plains", is proud to celebrate its 82nd year of musical excellence! GSMB members are both music majors and non-majors. The GSMB performs music from the hottest charts, providing spectacular halftime entertainment for the fans that pack Greyhound Stadium. The GSMB meets during the fall semester. Rehearsals are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from noon to 1:50 p.m. in the Floren Thompson Jr. Band Hall and Greyhound Stadium. Many members of the GSMB proudly represented ENMU, the state of New Mexico, and the United States of America when they performed, by invitation, in the 2009 and 2015 St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland. The GSMB has performed at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on three occasions.
