William Paterson University’s Pioneers compete in Division III of the NCAA as well as the Eastern College Athletic Conference and the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Wightman Field is the home of our Division III football and field hockey teams. The University’s intercollegiate sports teams also include men’s basketball, golf, soccer, swimming and diving, as well as women’s field hockey, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, and volleyball.
