The David A. Beckerman Recreations Center opened in December 2007 and is named in honor of David A. Beckerman, alumni of UNH and founder of Starter Inc. The $15.5 million facility at UNH is a comprehensive 56,500 square-foot Student Recreation Center. It offers a wide variety of fitness options to all students, faculty, and staff. The Recreation Center includes an indoor suspended running track that measures 1/10th of a mile; volley ball, basketball, and racquetball courts, as well as a Multi-Activity Court. After a long workout in the Beckerman Center, you can enjoy a smoothie in the Nrgize Juice Bar located in the lobby.
