Cook Library houses more than 560,000 volumes and non-book items, and over 2000 periodical titles. If that’s not enough, if you find a book that we don’t have at any of the 16 University System of Maryland schools, they will send it over or email it to you within a couple days! This opens us up to over 7.5 million reference materials, 200 research databases and 56,000 online journals. Cook library also houses the Baltimore Hebrew Institute’s 70,000-book collection, the print center, group work stations, and our very own Starbucks for those late night study sessions!
