A large section of the Agriculture Building roof is a research lab called the “Green Roof.” The idea is similar to a rooftop garden, but with some additional benefits, namely helping reduce heat and cooling costs for the Agriculture Building. Students use the Green Roof to plant and study native grasses and wildflowers, vegetable production and more.
