Peru State College

The Library was built in 1905 as a chapel with a gymnasium in the basement. The facility underwent a total renovation in 2002, which tripled the size of the college’s old library, which is now the CATS. The building previously served as a chapel, roller rink, art department, science center and gymnasium before becoming a state-of-the-art library. It is often referred to as the “living room” of campus. It features a grand piano, fireplace, private study rooms, meeting rooms, computer lab, archives, etc. It also houses an entire children’s library and is open to people from the community for use.
