This is not your average university Quad. The South Park Blocks are the city’s oldest blocks and have run right through PSU’s campus since Portland State established its current location in the 1950’s. Today the Park Blocks serve as a popular gathering place for students as well as the site of the Portland Farmers Market and other outdoor events. On any day you can appreciate the Blocks’ artwork, fountains, statues, and plant life.
