The WMU Residence Center is a welcoming space most commonly utilized by freshman females. Originally constructed in 1928, the building has a colorful history, serving as a host to the University Art Department, American soldiers in need of lodging, and even a swimming pool. WMU Residence Center now offers students private or double rooms, a central laundry room, three large lounges, and a computer lab.
