Aspiring actors and theater professionals will find a world of opportunity in Cypress’s Theater Department. Here, students have the chance to pursue theatrical studies in acting, technical theater, and theatrical design; students can also get practical theater experience by working on the two plays and two musicals that are produced by the department each year. The Cypress theater student can choose to earn an Associate’s degree in Theater Arts or a certificate in Costume and Makeup Design, Lighting and Audio Design or Technical Theater.
