http://www.stvincent.edu | http://www.wpnr.org | Saint Vincent College’s Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve staff and students welcome a dozen goats from Allegheny Goatscape, which are helping to control invasive species at the reserve. One of the benefits of being a Saint Vincent College student is being able to work, study or intern at the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve, where a 19th-century barn has been transformed into an environmental learning education center, and students have opportunities to study the natural environment and conduct research on the 50-acre wildlife sanctuary. In addition to the reserve, 20 acres of the campus have been developed into three wetlands that serve as an outdoor lab for students.
