Bartels Hall is the campus center of the University of New Haven. UNH sponsors over 80 clubs and organizations including the Undergraduate Student Government Association, the Charger Bulletin student newspaper, 11 Greek Life organizations, Cultural groups, Dance Teams, and sports clubs. The campus center is home to the Office of Student Activities, as well as the Marketplace, which is the main cafeteria for students at UNH.
In addition, Bartels Hall has large lounge areas for students to take a break between classes and to catch up with friends, a Jazzman's Cafe, as well as numerous facilities for large group meetings and campus events.
Over the summer of 2009 we will be begin expansion of Bartels Hall to double the size of the cafeteria to accommodate our growing campus community. This multi-phase project will include the renovation of the kitchen to streamline food service, as well as open additional seating in the cafeteria.
