About me
I grew up in San Francisco, and when time came to go to college, I knew I wanted to head out to the East Coast. Once I visited the Stony Brook campus, I just knew it was the right place for me. My time at Stony Brook shaped who I am today, both personally and professionally, and since graduating I have had access to opportunities that before only existed in my dreams. Go Seawolves!
Interesting Facts
One thing Stony Brook ignited in me was this idea that you can actually make a big difference in this world. It all started when I joined the Students For Good club at Stony Brook during my Freshmen Year, as we setup a program to help underprivileged high school students be the firsts in their families to go to college. That desire to make this world a better place has stayed with me ever since. Since graduating, I have been to Africa several times to help out various non-profits, and I am currently highly involved in UNICEF as a Team Captain.
