Named in honor of the University of Minnesota, Morris's second chief executive and longtime history professor, Chancellor John "Jack" Imholte, in 2004, the building's interior was completely gutted and remodeled. Imholte Hall is home to the Division of the Social Science classrooms, faculty offices, and research and computer labs.
